26th is Women's Equality Day and marks the anniversary of the Women’s Suffrage
Movement’s GREATEST victory—women achieving full voting rights following the
ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Throughout history
women have played major roles in both American history and the U.S. military,
today women are serving in combat roles on the front lines and in key
leadership positions such as the Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa and
Commander, Allied Joint Force Command Naples like Admiral Michelle Howard.
