The employment needs of military families and their subsequent effects on mission readiness and retention have been a recognized by the Navy as a concern. Employment opportunities and career advancement are critical to military family members.

The Family Employment Readiness Program (FERP) provides no cost consultations and service to help overcome these obstacles. Consultants are available to guide spouses on launching a job search, career planning, resume writing, interview techniques and more.

Search for jobs online using the Military Spouse Employment Partnership.

Military Spouse Career Advancement Account provides financial assistance to eligible spouses pursuing licensure, certification or an associate degree.
