Official and Recreational Lodging

NGIS - 350 x 232

The Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGIS) branding initiative is underway, supporting the fleet, fighter and family by providing standardized, quality facilities and lodging services for a mobile military community. Originally known as Visitors Quarters, the Navy’s official lodging program has changed significantly from its days when it used to be part of the Housing division. With more than 24,000 rooms at 77 facilities worldwide, NGIS is the primary lodging facility for travelers in a TDY status.

The Navy's Recreational Lodging and Campgrounds Program includes a vast inventory of recreational facilities, from cabins and cottages to RV parks and tent sites. These facilities provide recreational accommodations to vacationing travelers. Sites are normally located within or near a Navy installation, which makes them more convenient, affordable and appealing to military service members and their families.
