Navy Housing Program
The worldwide Navy Housing Program is managed by the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). The CNIC housing program is focused on ensuring that our customers, military service members, both unaccompanied and those with families, receive suitable, affordable and safe housing wherever they live around the world.
The Navy housing program provides a structure of support to help our customers find housing that meets their needs. Our first priority is to help our customers find housing in the local community near their place of work. When the private sector option is not available we provide privatized housing, or government owned or leased housing.
We deliver customer support to the Service member through our installation based Housing Service Centers (HSCs). The HSCs are staffed with trained professionals that are expert in providing housing services and locating homes and neighborhoods desired by the customer. CNIC Headquarters and Regional housing offices support our HSC professionals with policy, resources, oversight and training.
