Public Works Department provides construction and maintenance services, utilities, engineering, and other support services for the Naval Base Coronado installations.
NAVAL BASE CORONADO NORTH ISLAND SHUTTLE
North Island Shuttle. Save some green by riding the North Island Shuttle! Shuttle services runs M-F 0500-0800 approximately every 20 minutes and service the following areas on a continuous 20 minute loop: building 678 parking lot (NBC HQ), McCain Blvd to Rogers (McDonald's) to Quay Road (Starbucks), service to all CVN wharves, PSNS (72), Double Dome (340) area, service along Reed Road, the inner airfield hangar complex, and back down McCain blvd from flag circle. Look for the white shuttle bus labeled "North Island Shuttle"!
