About Fleet and Family Readiness
The Region's Fleet and Family Readiness programs are divided into three pillars: Fleet Readiness, Family Readiness and Housing.
Fleet Readiness
Fleet Readiness includes Morale, Welfare & Recreation. MWR offers our Sailors, civilians and their family members numerous recreational and morale activities and facilities to include: outdoor recreation, auto hobby shops, theaters, Information, Tours & Travel, fitness centers, intramural and varsity level sports, aquatics, special events and entertainment, liberty centers, libraries and much more.
Family Readiness
Our Fleet & Family Support and Child & Youth Programs make up our Family Readiness pillar. Fleet & Family Support Centers provide information and referral services, education and training, classes and clinical counseling for Sailors, civilians and their family members through a variety of programs such as Personal Financial Management, Transition Assistance, Family Employment Readiness, Intercultural Relations, Individual Augmentee Deployment & Readiness, and Relocation Assistance, just to name a few.
Our Child & Youth Programs provided high quality educational and recreational programs for children and youth. Teams of caring, knowledgeable professionals plan developmentally appropriate programs for our Navy children, whether in our Child Development Centers, Child Development Homes, School Age Care program or Teen or Youth Centers.

Housing
The Housing Department includes Family and Bachelor Housing, Housing Welcome Centers and Navy Gateway Inns & Suites. The Housing Welcome Centers give the support needed to find quality residences, on and off base
Our staff are trained professionals who will assist you in your home search, arrange showing tours, provide translation services for housing issues, help with a bilingual lease, and will continue to provide support and services during your tour of duty. Our Navy Gateway Inns & Suites provide transient and visitor lodging at each installation. Your comfort is our mission!
