AAA Driver Improvement Program
AMERICAN AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION DRIVER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
The Driver Improvement Program is a comprehensive 8-hour, classroom-based, interactive course designed to encourage students to participate in each section. Students are able to relate their own experiences to the scenes in the supplemental videos, which assists them in identifying their own habits, good and bad, while driving. Take the class that is proven effective.
These classes will be held at the Naval Station Safety Office Building 3400 Room 230 on the corner of Green Bay and Buckley Road. All classes begin promptly at 0730 and ends at 1600. This program is available to all Naval Station personnel, families and DoD Employees. There is no charge for this course.
Basic Riders Course (BRC)
Motorcycle Safety Project Closed Course/Walk-Ins
Anyone who is unable to register for a course has the option of attempting to attend a course as a “walk-in.” Walk-in participants will be selected in a lottery drawing once roll call is completed and the number of vacancies has been determined. Persons will be given a numbered ticket and there will be a drawing for each seat to be filled. This means the time you arrive at a training site will provide no advantage for getting into a course. Therefore, persons trying to get into a course as a “walk-in” are not to arrive for a course before 5p.m.
LOCATION: Courses will be conducted at Building 3400, Room 230, south of the Navy Exchange (Burkey Mall). Enter through the west entrance and an instructor will meet you.
