USN Landing Practice to be Conducted at NAF Atsugi

YOKOSUKA // May 22, 2012

The U.S. Navy announced today it would be conducting additional landing practice at Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi in order to keep its pilot’s skills current, as required by U.S. Navy safety regulations and operating procedures.

 

Zenkokai Award Winners Announced

Yokosuka // 22 May 2012

Fourteen individuals and four Navy organizations will be honored for their public service to Japan and their communities by the Zenkokai (Good Conduct) Association of Japan this Saturday, May 26, at Meiji Jingu Shrine Sanshuden Hall in Tokyo.

USN to Conduct Field Carrier Landing Practice at Iwo To

Yokosuka // 27 April 2012

The U.S. Navy announced today it will conduct Field Carrier Landing Practice (FCLP) at Iwo To from 08-19 May 2012, in order to qualify the pilots of Carrier Air Wing FIVE (CVW 5) for underway Carrier Operations. The majority of the training, both day and night is expected to be conducted at Iwo To.
