Change in Access Control Policy Effective 1 September 2011 

*Access procedures for all personnel may change at any time due to Installation requirements.

In compliance with CNIC directives, Commander, Navy Region Northwest is making changes to its access control policies. Changes affect those vendors, contractors, sub-contractors, and service providers who access the installation but are not authorized a Common Access Credential (CAC). Individuals who enroll in the RAPIDGate^® Program will have streamlined access onto the Installation. Others will have limited / restricted access.

Summary of changes:

RAPIDGate Participants Benefits:

q RAPIDGate is the only long term pass available

q Allows access for up to one year

q Subject only to Random Inspections

Non-RAPIDGate Participant Restrictions and Conditions:

q All Regional Contractor badges expire on 31 Aug 2011 .

q Region Contractor badges will continue to be used for enclave access

q Must produce bill of lading, work order, or request for service

q Must obtain day-pass from Pass/ID each day access is needed

q Subject to more frequent vehicle inspections and limited hours of inspection station
