Personnel Service Detachment (PSD) Newport
Mission: Personnel Support Detachment Newport is a world class customer service organization delivering superior military pay, personnel and passenger transportation services to customers located throughout New England.
Location: The office is co-located in building 690 with the Naval Station Newport Command Headquarters and is next door to the Newport Commissary.
Hours of Operation are:
Customer Service: Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ID Card Section: Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (all business must be completed by 4 p.m.)
ID Card appointments can be made in advance at: https://rapids-appointments.dmdc.osd.mil
Open drill Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for reserve component business. (all business must be completed by 12 noon)
