Public AffairsThe Naval Station Newport Public Affairs Office prepares press releases, coordinates limited tours of the Naval Station, and is the command's official media contact. The Newport Navalog, the Navy's oldest newspaper, services all area commands and is published every Friday under the guidance of the Public Affairs Officer. The office also operates three channels (channels 13, 14, & 15) through a cable television station on the Newport Naval Cable Television system and media training for all local commands.
