Directions to the Energy Zone:
From Gate 2 make a right at the first traffic light on Buse Road. Make a left on Keane Road. The Energy Zone is across from the Mattapany Day Camp.

The Energy Zone hosts over 30 group exercise classes varying from water aerobics, Spinning™, Body Step™ and Body Pump™. Classes are held Monday through Saturday starting as early as 5:30 a.m. and as late as 5:30 p.m. Classes are held in the Energy Zone behind the Drill Hall (Bldg. 1586) and are free to active-duty, reservist and retired military personnel. All others:

All passes must be purchased at the Fitness & Sports Office inside the Drill Hall, Rm. 10, and presented to the instructor at each class.  For more information, call the Fitness Coordinator at 301-995-3869.

Aqua Aerobics
Aqua Aerobics is offered in the Indoor Pool.  The schedule is as follows:
Monday, Wednesday and  Friday     9 a.m.
Tuesday and Thursday        .            5 p.m.
Saturday                                          10 a.m.

Krav Maga Self Defense
Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces.  It is a simple, effective self defense system that emphasizes instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios.  Register at the Fitness  & Sports Office.

Ballroom Dancing
Join us to learn dances including Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha, Tango, and more!  This is a great way to get some exercise, get ready for a wedding, or just enjoy an evening out.  Recommended attire: leather soled shoes.  Couples preferred.  Interested singles will be placed on a list to be paired up.

Drop-in Yoga Classes
$72 ($36 for E1-E5) for an 8-class drop-in pass

Yoga Stretch and Flex - A series of gentle yet active stretches, movements, and postures designed to calm the 
         mind and body, increase flexibility, and build strength.  Suitable for all levels.
         Mondays 5:45  - 6:45 p.m.
Flow Yoga - A dynamic sequence of postures and breathing.  Suitable for those with experience.
         Tuesdays 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Yoga Levels 1-2 - A detail-oriented class focusing on alignment along with strength and flexibility.  Suitable for all 
         levels.
         Thursdays 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
