Pass and ID
The Security Pass and ID office at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam is located at Bldg. 3455, just outside Nimitz Gate. Active Duty or Civilian employees must present their military ID during normal business hours with the following vehicle information to receive long-term vehicle stickers:
- Valid driver's license
- Vehicle registration
- Safety inspection
- Proof of No-Fault insurance
- Military ID

If you are driving a rental car, present your rental agreement and military ID for temporary 24-hour passes at any gate.
Non-military visitor:
Visitor must be sponsored by the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) activity that they will visit. The JBPHH activity will fax a letter, twenty-four hours in advance of the visit, to the Pass and ID Office, stating the company name, and time/date/purpose of visit. Visitor will check at Nimitz Gate and present the following documents:
- Valid driver's license
- Car registration
- Safety inspection
- Proof of no-fault insurance
Visitor with letter authorizing entry for several days (e.g. conference):
(Good for the length of time requested-- usually a few days.) At least 24 hours in advance, JBPHH activity will fax a letter to the Pass and ID Office requesting entry for the period of the event. Letter must state the company name, individual's name and time/date/purpose of visit. During normal business hours, the visitor will present documents at the Pass and ID Office.
Visitor has a current contract or Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA):
(Good for the life of the contract or agreement. However, passes are issued at maximum intervals of twelve months.) After a contract or agreement has been executed, the vendor must complete the following two forms: vehicle list and personnel list. The forms are submitted to the Contracting Officer which awarded the contract or agreement. The contracting office will attach a cover letter and send it to the JBPHH Pass and ID Office which will notify the contractor.
