4-12-2024 - The Navy is requesting permission to sample drinking water wells near Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach Detachment Norco (Det. Norco) beginning April 24, 2024 for certain per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, and a public meeting will be held on April 23. For more information click HERE.
4-08-2024 - Final pile driving for the ongoing Ammunition Pier Construction Project is set to start this week and last for 2-3 weeks. The project web page has been updated with the latest schedule and construction details. For more information click HERE.
3-08-2024 - SECURITY DRILLS - There will be a series of security exercises on base during the week of March 11. They will include a harbor patrol boat drill on Monday, March 11 that may involve the use of blank gunfire, and a security exercise on Thursday, March 14 that may include the use of our mass notification loudspeaker system.
Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, California and its Detachments - located in Fallbrook and Norco, California - exist to provide weapons storage, loading, maintenance, and assessment support to ships of the United States Pacific Fleet. Our facilities also support Coast Guard vessels and Marine Corps units stationed afloat and ashore.
