Morale, Welfare and Recreation
When you are off duty, MWR Sigonella is on!
With more than 35 programs and services, MWR approaches fleet and family readiness by serving as Sigonella’s access point and champion for fun, fitness and travel. Our events and activities offer everyone the opportunity to be an important part of small town Sigonella!
Housing
The Sigonella Housing Welcome Center (HWC) assists all incoming military and DOD civilian personnel. Based on eligibility, accompanied and unaccompanied personnel are provided assistance in assignments to Military Family Housing (MFH); bachelor housing, or economy housing in Sicily.
Navy Gateway Inns & Suites
The Navy Gateway Inns & Suites is pleased to provide you clean and comfortable guest rooms and suites. Both NAS I and NAS II have an NGIS Reception, operating 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. All rooms have a kitchenette, equipped with electrical burners, microwave, refrigerator, TV set, and every other attempt has been made to fully anticipate your needs and providing you with a variety of services and amenities.
