New Hires:
Before you make an appointment with PSD for your Common Access Card (CAC) you need to validate that you are in DEERS. Please click on this link. You will see a page titled "Ventura County Login Page" . Login by entering your Social Security Number and Last Name and click submit.
- If you are in DEERS you will see a page titled "CAC Appointments & DEERS Validation" with instructions for setting up your CAC appointment with PSD.
- If the Ventura County Login Page does not change, your are not in DEERS yet and will need to check back again later. Your command's designated Human Resource Office processes personnel action into DCPDS, generally within 3-5 working days. The DCPDS sends new information to DEERS each night. If after 5 days you are still not in DEERS you may need to contact your hiring Human Resource Office.
