Fleet & Family Readiness
The Mid-Atlantic Region Fleet & Family Readiness team is dedicated to providing a full range of quality programs and services that enhance the lives of Sailors and families in support of mission readiness and retention. FFR encompasses three program areas: Family Readiness (Fleet & Family Support Centers), Fleet Readiness (Child & Youth Programs, Morale, Welfare & Recreation, and Food Service Galleys) and Housing Services & Lodging (Bachelor & Family and Navy Gateway Inns and Suites). Fleet & Family Support Center
Fleet & Family Support Centers' professional staff provides programs and services for Sailors and their families. The information and referral, education and training, counseling and advocacy programs are free and available to all active-duty, reserves, retired Military, and their family members.
Morale, Welfare & Recreation
MWR provides liberty programs, fitness facilities, tickets and travel and motion pictures ashore. Furthermore, their programs encourage positive individual values, aid in recruitment and retention, and provide for the physical, cultural and social needs of a mobile Navy.
