This base is home to the Atlantic Fleet Seabees. There are also more than 50 tenants who call NCBC home.

Installation Information

NCBC exists to maintain and operate facilities and provide services and material in support of Naval Construction Force Units, to include Amphibious Construction Fleet Units, the Maritime Prepositioning Force (Enhanced), and other fleet and assigned organizational units deployed from or homeported at NCBC Gulfport, and to perform such other functions and tasks as may be assigned by higher authority.

Memorial Day Ceremonies

There will be a Memorial Day Ceremony in honor of WWII Medal of Honor recipient, Private First Class James H. Diamond, May 28 at 8 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport. He is the only WWII MoH recipient who enlisted in Mississippi. Everyone is invited to attend.

Biloxi National Cemetery will hold their annual Memorial Day Ceremony May 28 at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

There will be a Memorial Day Service May 28 at 10 a.m. at the War Memorial Park on Scenic Drive in Pass Christian. Everyone is invited to attend.

---BILOXI NATIONAL CEMETERY MEMORIAL DAY FLAG PLACING - Military and civilian volunteers are needed to place flags on Veteran’s grave sites at Biloxi National Cemetery May 26. If you are interested in taking part in this annual tradition, meet at Biloxi National at 9 a.m. to place approximately 17,000 flags. (Military uniform is not required.) --- HARRISON COUNTY YOUTH COURT - HCYC is looking for volunteers to make a difference in the life of a child. You can help by becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (C.A.S.A.) or volunteer to become a mentor for C.H.A.N.G.E. (Cultivating Healthy Achievements in the Next Generation of Excellence). --- COAST SALVATION ARMY NEEDS VOLUNTEERS - Volunteers are need for various projects throughout the year. The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Biloxi is always in need of assistance in the Athletic Department, Fitness Center, Arts and Music Department, Aquatic Center, and marketing. Praise and Worship Team members needed -- The Seabee Memorial Chapel is looking for new members for the Praise and Worship Team for the Divine Worship Service at 11 a.m. Sundays. Looking for a church? -- The Seabee Memorial Chapel holds services every Sunday that might just suit your needs. Protestant Services include a Gospel Service at 8 a.m., Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and Divine Worship Service at 11 a.m. Catholic Services include Catholic Mass at 9:30 a.m. There is also a Catholic Mass Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m. For more info, call the Chapel at 228-871-2454.

NCBC launches new channel - Want to know what is happening on base? If you have Cable One (on base only), tune in to channel 87. The new Commander's Access Channel is now on. More programming will be added in the future. Tune in and see what's going on. Note: There are pockets of the base that will not receive the signal, yet (i.e. portions of Pinewood and Ladd housing).
