Operations
The NAS JRB New Orleans operations department provides weaponry, aircraft flight planning, aircraft mission support, firefighting capabilities, and electronic equipment maintenance.
The operations department is located in Building 1 and is made up of five divisions and more than 200 personnel. The five divisions are: Air Traffic Control (ATC), Firehouse, Ground Electronics Maintenance Division (GEMD), Transient Line (T-Line), and Weapons.
