Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans is the premiere training detachment facility in the Central Gulf Coast Region. Its proximity to both over-water and over-land training areas is unsurpassed. NAS JRB provides newly renovated hangar space for all squadron personnel; large ramp areas; tenant aircraft support (F/A-18 and F-15); TACTS auditorium (coming soon); MWR facilities, equipment and events; and of course those world renowned New Orleans attractions.
For commands interested in utilizing NAS JRB New Orleans as a site for an upcoming training detachment, below are step-by-step instructions for your request.
- First Step - Click on the link below and provide the following information:
- Dates Requested
- Estimated Total Number of People
- Estimated Total Number and Type of Aircraft
- Point of Contact: Name, Phone Number, and Email Address
- Second Step - Download Detachment Request Form and complete
- Third Step - Once Detachment slot confirmation email is received from Joint Liaison Office (JLO), then either fax (504) 678-9575 or email request back.
- Fourth Step - Download and fill out the Navy Gateway Inns & Suites Group Reservation Request form.
