CDR Scott Wilmot was commissioned from Texas A&M University in 1988 and immediately entered the Navy’s flight training program at NAS Pensacola, Fla.
CDR Wilmot has served at sea aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63), USS Harry S Truman (CVN 75), and USS Hue City (CG 66) as an HS pilot with the Carrier Air Wing and as part of the Carrier Group staff.
He has deployed to the Mediterranean, Baltic Sea and Red Sea, the Western Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Gulf.
Ashore, he has served as a flight instructor in VT-28 at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas; the Joint Information Operations Center in San Antonio, Texas; the U.S. Navy Central Command, U.S. 5th Fleet (NAVCENT/C5F) in Bahrain; and most recently with the U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
