Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission:
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWCC) is a bureau of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection within the Division of Law Enforcement. FWCC is a state and federally deputized unit comprised mostly of waterborne law enforcement officers supported by one aircraft and one helicopter. Its activities include enforcement of state and federal laws, rules, regulations and ordinances, as well as supporting the US Coast Guard in searches and oil spill operations. FMP supports NSA operations including EOD, protection of submerged test equipment, area security during ship testing and operations, law enforcement backup to base police and assistance to the base during closures and hurricane conditions.
