Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)

  • EFMP is a program for active-duty sponsors who have family members with chronic illness or incapacity, mental illness, or learning disabilities.
  • EFMP identification helps detailers consider career and special needs during the assignment process, leading to a win-win outcome that provides for the family's needs, and promotes readiness within our armed forces.
