Naval Air Station Whiting Field was utilized for Naval Sea Cadet Corps boot camp style training, July 17 through July 30. The NSCC typically uses the base every year for training events.
CNRSE Holds Change of Command Ceremony

Commander, Navy Region Southeast held a change of command ceremony aboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS JAX), Aug. 18. During the ceremony, Capt. John C. “Jack” Scorby Jr. relieved Rear Adm. Townsend G.“Tim” Alexander as the region’s commander.
