America Red Cross

The Red Cross is a non-profit agency staffed primarily by Volunteers. They process emergency messages and offer assistance to veterans, and emergency assistance to service members and their families including financial assistance (when the aid societies are not available for extended periods of time); information and referral services; health and safety courses (including First Aid and CPR and Life Guard training, pre-natal and teen baby sitter education; Disaster Relief Planning, Preparedness, and Education; and Adult and Youth Volunteer programs in the Naval Hospital and Dental Clinic, as well as instructors and Disaster Action Team members. Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society

The Sigonella auxiliary of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a non-profit, charitable organization that provides assistance to Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families. NMCRS offers interest-free loans and grants as well as non-financial programs such as Jr. Sea Bags (layettes), Spouse Tuition Aid, Budgeting Strategies and the food pantry.
