Navy policy is provide operational and support activities with essential MWR mission support services, as well as produce programs that effectively contribute to the morale, well-being and quality of life (QOL) of naval personnel and their family members.

MWR Fitness Coordinator and Specialist

The MWR Athletics and Fitness Coordinator and Specialist will help you achieve your optimum level of personal fitness by performing a variety of services that range from personal assessments, to developing a personal workout plan, to being your personal trainer or a combination of the three-all designed to assist sailors to reach their Physical Readiness Program (PRT) goals and for you to achieve and see results. 

The Fitness Coordinator and Specialist conducts personal fitness assessments to determine a patron’s individual fitness level based on body composition, flexibility and cardiovascular and muscular endurance. The Fitness Coordinator and Specialist also conduct fitness orientation to show patrons how to properly use all cardiovascular, strength and free weight equipment.
