Traffic Administrative Forum (TAF) as known as Traffic Court convenes at 1300 on the first and third Wednesday of each month except for holidays at Main Base Community Education Center (Bldg#155). Individuals who are issued an Armed Forces Traffic Ticket (DD Form 1408) have 30 days or two TAF dates whichever is longer to appear from the date of the traffic ticket.
Individual who has committed traffic violation and intends to contest may appear at TAF with a pink copy of the Armed Forces Traffic Ticket (DD Form 1408) within 30 days or two TAF dates whichever is longer. The penalties will be assessed as described in article 10 of CFASINST 5800.1 series. You may report to the Security Front Desk and plead “No Contest” in which points will be accessed in accordance with CFASINST 5800.1 series.
If you do not appear within 30 days of the ticket issued, your USFJ Form 4EJ (U.S. Forces Operator’s Permit for Civilian Vehicle) could be suspended for up to six months. If for any reason you cannot appear within that time frame, please contact the CFAS Traffic Court Clerk at 252-2524 or 252-3464 (Mon-Fri 0800-1600).
