CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER (CDC):  CDC is for ages six weeks through pre-kindergarten. We provide quality child care with scheduled developmental activities, free play, story telling, music and art in a safe & secure environment. Yokosuka and Ikego CDCs have full day care for children ages six weeks to five years. We provide two meals and one snack, two outdoor exercise periods, and a rest/nap time period in addition to regularly scheduled age appropriate developmental activities throughout the day.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT HOME PROGRAM (CDH):  CDH care is provided by select military family members in base housing. CDH providers attend proper training and have their homes inspected for safety, sanitation, and quality programming. In addition to regular fulltime care, CDH providers can often meet the special needs of later hours, part time, hourly, weekend or last minute care.

SCHOOL AGE CARE (SAC):  Yokosuka and Ikego SAC Centers offer a recreational program for children of working parents, from kindergarten through 6th grades. Activities such as; rock climbing, bowling, swimming, off base field trips, arts and crafts and games are part of the fun.

TEEN CENTER:  MWR offers two locations; One in Yokosuka and one in Ikego. Members of the Teen Center will enjoy the many benefits such as; increase engagement in school and learning, increase positive character traits and civic engagement, improve healthy habits and decision-making skills. All Teen Centers are available for children of grades 6-12 (must have attended at least one school day in the 6th grade). Membership is FREE!

YOUTH SPORTS:  We provide safe, fun, positive and high quality recreational sporting activities for the dependents of active duty personnel, and DoD civilians associated with CFAY Japan.
