SANTA RITA, Guam (Dec. 11, 2020) – In consideration of the recent extensions granted by the Government of Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation and the Department of Homeland Security regarding Guam Driver’s License/Identification cards and Real ID, the U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG) Visitor Control Center (VCC) will recognize expired Guam Driver’s Licenses/Identification cards or patrons requesting access credentials. In addition, the Real ID enforcement deadline has been extended to Oct. 1, 2021.
Effective immediately, the NBG order is valid until Oct. 1, 2021 or as otherwise directed and applies to Guam residents ONLY.
Upon requesting access credentials for NBG, patrons must present the following:
· Guam Driver’s licenses or Identification that have not expired before Sept. 1, 2019.
· If a patron is unable to present a Real ID compliant identification card, they must present a Guam Driver’s License or Identification card meeting the specific requirements above and two (2) other forms of identification (birth certificate, social security card, utility bill, etc.) which will be cross-checked by VCC Staff for authenticity.
· At least 1 of the provided identifications provided above must include a photo of the individual requesting access.
