    Commanding Officer

    Captain Denius is native of Tallahassee, Florida and raised in Big Horn, Wyoming. He was accepted to attend the U.S. Naval Academy where he graduated and received his commission in 1994. 



  • Michael J. Coury

    Deputy Commanding Officer


    A native of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, Michael “Mike” Coury graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in May 1985.  In 1986, he received his naval flight officer wings and reported to Tactical Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 129 for training in the EA-6B Prowler. He has earned graduate degrees in Aviation Systems from the University of Tennessee in 1994, and National Security and Strategic Studies (honor graduate) from the Naval War College in Newport, R.I. in 2001.

  • CMDCS Jesus A. Felix

    Command Senior Chief

    Senior Chief Felix, a native of Tucson, Arizona, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in March 2000, and after boot camp at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois he attended basic enlisted submarine school and electronics technician “A” school at Naval Submarine School, Groton, Connecticut.  He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy course 231, and Command Master Chief / Chief of the Boat class 21110.
