Non-federal entities (NFE) are any entities that are not run by the federal government. NFEs may include organizations such as enlisted associations, state professional groups, charities, and other professional groups with membership on the installation.
Why are NFEs being asked to fill out applications to operate on NSAB?

My group has been on NSAB for quite some time. Why are some NFEs being required to reapply?
Approval to operate on the installation lasts for two years; however, some organizations have not previously applied and must comply.
This seems to be a change to how NSAB handles NFE access. Why wasn’t the policy enforced before?
Previously, the process was handled differently. As the installation reviews its records and currently approved NFEs, every effort is being made to ensure the current requirements are being applied equally to both new and current NFEs.
How long does the approval process take?
Once all documentation is submitted, approval should take less than a month.
What is the penalty for setting up a table without approval to operate?
Per the direction of CNIC, operating without approval may result in the installation shutting down the table or event.
What is the penalty for failing to operate within the rules established in an approval to conduct activity?
Failing to comply with the requirements put in place under an approval to conduct activity may result in an NFE having their approval to operate revoked.
