"Navy Region Hawaii installations are participating in HURREX 15, a hurricane preparedness exercise through May 29. The following information is an example of what would be provided in the event of an actual hurricane approaching Hawaii:

Navy Region Hawaii sets Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness One

PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM - As part of HURREX 15, Commander, Navy Region Hawaii has set Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness (TCCOR) 1, with destructive and sustained winds of 50 knots or greater occurring or anticipated within 12 hours.

At some time during this period before the arrival of destructive winds, JBPHH will close all gates and access to Ford Island. Once the Hurricane has made landfall EMS, Fire and security forces will NOT RESPOND to emergency calls.

Fill your bathtub and several lined trash cans with water to flush toilets. Please remain vigilant and listen to local news for updates.

**This notice contains general information that may be specific to the JBPHH geographical area. Personnel at PMRF, MCBH and other geographically separate installations should also monitor and follow locally provided guidance.
