Forrest Faison III, Navy Surgeon General and chief, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery tours the spaces of U.S. Navy Branch Health Clinic (BHC) Atsugi during a visit. PACFLT holds the seminar throughout the area of responsibility to train senior enlisted and junior officers to work together to successfully accomplish missions within the complex operating environments. Michael Donnelly, commanding officer of the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), commends the crew for successfully completing Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV). Congress established INSURV in 1882 to inspect Navy ships and to report on their readiness. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
