Welcome to Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg located off the Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township, Pa. We are committed to providing effective and efficient world-class base operating support to our tenants, visitors and residents and to enable our fighters and support our families.

Installation Information

NSA Mechanicsburg is located in Central Pennsylvania at the eastern boundary of Mechanicsburg, has over 150 buildings with 8.8 million square feet of space. The various land uses at NSA fall into four functional areas: administrative; housing and community facilities; warehousing; and open storage. Thirty-five tenant commands are located on the 806-acre complex.

About 7.3 million square feet of the total building space is warehouse, with 4.7 million square feet used for storage of Defense Logistics Agency and service-owned supplies and materials.
