This is an update to the construction on Naval Station Everett's main gate, which is closed through September 2016. The base is notifying the community that the pile driving phase of this construction project will begin on June 13 and will last approximately four days.

Naval Station Everett will host a Memorial Day ceremony on Thursday, May 26 at 7:50 a.m. The ceremony will be held on base in the Jackson Plaza courtyard, beginning with the observance of morning colors. Military veterans from all branches are invited to attend with their families.

296E Naval Station Everett’s main gate is scheduled to be closed for construction from May 31 to approximately September 1, 2016. Vehicle traffic will be redirected through the base’s north gate which is accessible on 18th Street from West Marine View Drive. The temporary closure supports construction of a new canopy over the sentry stations at the gate.

Naval Station Everett will be conducting a security exercise in the harbor around the base on May 12 between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Usual traffic and pedestrian access to the base will not be affected.

SILVERDALE, WASH - Effective Monday Feb. 1, visitors to Navy Installations in the Northwest using their Washington Driver’s License for identification will now be required to show a different form of identification, as required by the REAL ID Act.
