Naval Station Everett’s (NSE) Smokey Point Commissary patrons donated thousands of pounds of food, at a total value of more than $5,490, to the Everett Gospel Mission for Women and Children during the holiday season.

Guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102) arrived at its homeport of Everett, Washington on Dec. 23, after participating in an Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI) with the U.S. Coast Guard’s 14th District in the Western Pacific Ocean.

Commander Navy Region Northwest will present a Navy Band Northwest holiday concert in Everett on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. The free community event will be held at the Village Theater, Everett Performing Arts Center. Seating is first come, first serve. No tickets necessary for entry.
