Reservations and Eligibility: The Shields RV Park is Recreational Lodging open to all Active Duty, Reservists (both Active and Retired), Dependents, Retirees, and DoD Civilians.
Check-Out Time: Noon. If you plan to extend your visit, please register at the office by 9:30 a.m.
Local TV Stations: Channel 13 (ABC) and Channel 25 (FOX).
Speed Limit: 5 MPH within the RV Park. Watch out for children.
Quiet Hours: 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Restrooms and Showers: Restrooms and showers are open 24 hours a day. Please help us maintain these facilities. Restrooms are closed daily from 7:15 a.m. to 8 a.m. for cleaning.
Laundry: Laundry facilities are open 24 hours a day. Please help by cleaning up after yourself. Laundry closed daily 7:15 a.m. to 8 a.m. for cleaning.
RV’s: RV’s that are not self-propelled must have a vehicle on site to transport the RV when ordered to evacuate the RV Park.
Vehicles: Two vehicles per campsite. No parking on the grass. No oil changes or any major repairs on your vehicles are to be done at your site.
Sewer: A sewer ring must be used with our sewer hook-up per state law.
Hookups: Sewer hoses, water hoses and power cords are to be on the concrete. Satellite cables are to run so that they are high enough off the ground to permit mowing and trimming of the grass.
Trash and Garbage: Guest is responsible for their own trash. Please place your garbage in a tied plastic bag and put it in the dumpsters.
Outside Premises: There are to be no appliances or storage units outside your RV.
Storage: Boats, boat trailers and utility trailers are not permitted at the campsite. No storage buildings are allowed. Outside clutter including under your RV is to be at a minimum. Lawn Chairs, Grills, Ice Chest, External Propane Tanks and Bicycles are permitted.
Extended Stays: RV’s are not to be left vacant for more than 48 hours without advance approval from the Park Manager.
We have 7 Short Term Sites: 4 are back in - 3 are pull thru. Monthly rate is $381.00
Children: 12 years and younger must be supervised at all times.
Clotheslines: Clotheslines are not allowed at campsites. Please do not hang your clothes outside.
Firearms: Firearms must be checked in with Base Security. For additional guidance on base firearm policy, please reference NCBC Gulfport Instructions 3593.1
Alcoholic Beverages: Open containers and glass bottles are to remain at your campsite.

Personnel residing in the Shields RV Park may not maintain more than Two dogs, or Two cats, or One of each.There is no limitation to the number of small caged pets (birds, gerbils, hamster, etc.) or tropical fish, provided they are maintained in such a way they do not become a nuisance to others, or damage government property.
All park patrons must register their pets at the Shields Park Office at time of check in and provide written verification of their pets’ current rabies vaccination or have tags available.
The following types of animals will not be kept as pets aboard CBC Gulfport: Skunks, raccoons, ferrets, squirrels, rabbits, monkeys, snakes, lizards, and wild animals normally restricted to a zoo-type confinement. Livestock or domestic animals such as poultry, rabbits, or pigs. Animals normally considered aggressive such as pit bull dogs or fighting cocks.
RV Park Pet Rules
Pets are not allowed in any campground building with the exception of working dogs (Seeing-eye dogs). This includes the Office, Laundry room and Restrooms.
Pets are to be on a leash at all times when outside the RV. Leash is not to exceed 6 feet.
No pets are to be left unattended when outside the RV.
Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of the waste in the dumpsters provided.
Your pet must remain on your campsite, on the roadways or in designated pet walk area if provided. Pets will not be permitted in other occupied campsites unless invited by the occupant of that site.
Pet walk areas are those identified within the RV Park and Dog Run Area which is located at the Seabee Rec. Park. All other areas are prohibited.
Barking dogs are a nuisance to others. Pet owners must ensure their pets do not disturb other campers either when attended or when pets are left unattended inside the RV.
Violation of these rules will result in you being required to remove your pet or pets from the RV Park. Serious or numerous violations may result in the pet owner also being required to vacate the RV Park.
Accommodations: Shield’s RV Park offers 68 sites. Amenities include free Cable TV, Wi-Fi, Water, Sewer, Electric, Shower Facility, On-site Coin Operated Laundry Facility, Mail Service, telephone hook ups, a dump station, and 20, 30, 50 amp services. There are 53 pull through sites and 15 back in sites. Shields RV park has ADA restrooms and shower facilities (one for each gender). There are 7 sites for short term stay only. Five of these are back-ins and four are pull-through. These pads are available for customers wishing to stay 14 days or less. The number of short-term stay pads will be evaluated annually for adjustment as warranted by peak demand periods (November through April). There are also four overflow sites available at the park entrance for overnight stays (dry camping only).
