  • Rear Admiral Scott Gray

    Commander, Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central


    Rear Adm. Christopher “Scotty” Gray is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is a 1988 graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. He briefly served as an investment banker before receiving his commission in June 1989 through the Aviation Officer Candidate Program. He was subsequently designated an E-2C Naval Flight Officer in June 1990.

  • Captain Michael F. Davis

    The son of a career naval officer, Captain Davis considers north Florida home.  Enlisting in the Navy in 1988, he served aboard USS Minneapolis-St. Paul (SSN 708) and as an instructor at the Trident Training Facility in Kings Bay, Georgia. 

  • Marjorie E. Lutz

    Ms. Lutz has been the Executive Director for Commander, Navy Region Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia (CNREURAFSWA) since September 2017. In this capacity, she serves as the senior civilian and principal advisor to the Commander responsible for policy, strategy, governance, and business management across the Region’s eight lines of operation. She leads efforts in future year defense planning, resource programming, and investment strategy to ensure the effective delivery of shore-based capability to the fleet, joint, and allied forces across CNREURAFSWA.

  • Command Master Chief (SW) Mitcheal Burgin

    Command Master Chief, Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central


    Master Chief Burgin was born in Decatur, GA, and grew up in Flowery Branch, GA. He graduated from West Hall High School in 1989. Following completion of Recruit Training Command, Basic Enlisted Submarine School, Basic Electronics Rate Training, and Fire Control Technician "A" and "C" Schools, he reported aboard USS OHIO (SSBN 726) (BLUE). Following his sea tour, he served as an Attack Team Trainer Instructor and Lead Junior Officer Weapons Instructor at Trident Training Facility, Kings Bay, GA, from May 1995 to February 1998.
