Clinical counseling services provided at the Fleet and Family Support Center include individual counseling, groups, and classes designed to help promote individual growth, adjustment, and stability. Additionally, we develop and provide presentations for commands regarding subjects such as return and reunion with family members, transitions and deployment adjustments, and stress reduction for the returning service member.
All of our professional counseling staff are licensed, seasoned mental health professionals and work collaboratively with the chaplains, medical personnel and with the Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) to provide a full range of counseling services. Classes such as Anger Management, Stress Reduction, Behavioral Change and Skills Development, to name a few, are offered throughout the month.
Our counseling services are short-term and solution-focused and are designed to promote healthy and beneficial change. All individual sessions, groups and classes are available by appointment at FFSC for military personnel and civilians on Camp. Addressing issues while on deployment is time well spent and often an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Our counselors are here to assist and help.
