Captain Lane enlisted in the Navy in 1989. He completed nuclear propulsion training as Electronics Technician (ET) in 1991 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University (SIU) in 1998. After commissioning through Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Pensacola, Florida in 1999, he completed flight training and was designated a Naval Flight Officer (NFO) in 2001. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) in 2014.

A native of El Paso, TX, Commander Rivera enlisted in the Navy in June 1990. A graduate of the Broaden Opportunity for Officer Selection and Training (BOOST) program, he earned a Navy ROTC scholarship to the University of Arizona where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science.
Command Master Chief, Naval Support Activity Bahrain
Master Chief Madison is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in April 1991 and attended Basic Training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois. Upon graduating Basic Training, he reported to Electrician Mate "A" School in Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. He is a graduate of the Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy, Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course, and holds an Associates of General Studies degree from Columbia College.
