The Family Employment Readiness Program (FERP) provides assistance to military family members in developing, improving or continuing their professional careers while sharing in the military member's lifestyle. Our program addresses the challenges of moving every few years through our workshops and through individualized assistance in areas such as job search, resume writing, interview techniques, federal employment information, and much more.
Our Career Resource Center in the Fleet and Family Support Center has resource materials covering all stages of employment readiness as well as computers for use in job searching on the internet.
Call the FERP Manager at DSN: 439-4787 if you would like to make an appointment for individual assistance.
Please check the NAF New Employee Handbook. This handbook was developed for non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees and it contains information about the Fleet and Family Readiness Program in addition to other information relative to the policies that affect you as a NAF employee.
