DRINKING WATER CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORT SUMMARY
Per CNIC M-5090.1 of 29 June 2018, each U.S. Navy overseas installation must prepare and issue an annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) that addresses the quality of its drinking water systems no later than July 1.
Drinking Water CCRs (both in English and host nation language) include information on the source of the water, any significant sources of contamination, a list of contaminants regulated by the applicable regulations (Italy Final Governing Standards (FGS), Overseas Environmental Baseline Guidance Document (OEBGD ), and CNICINST 5090.1A), an educational statement for vulnerable populations, and points of contact for additional information.
The primary acceptable means of CCR delivery is the installation website/home page. In addition, CCR information may be distributed through the installation newspaper, All-Hands Emails, Plans of the Week, and through social media (Facebook, Twitter etc.)
Last year, we posted the CCRs on the NSA Naples web page, posted a link to the CCRs on the NSA Naples Facebook page and in the PAO Notes.
For any questions or concerns, please contact the PWD Naples Drinking Water Program Manager at 626-6923.
