BHC Souda Bay has a fully operational TRICARE Service Center (TSC) located inside the clinic, with a Preferred Provider Network of civilian-local national physicians to supplement the care available at the military treatment facility (MTF). Medical Liaison services to help bridge cultural and language gaps and help you understand the local culture and clinical practice environment are also available and can assist you in understanding your experience when referred for health care in the host nation. Case management, Referral management, Health Care Finder Services and BCAC/DCAO support is an integral part of the beneficiary support services available at the BHC, NSA Souda Bay TSC. This is a proven successful and confidential service, available 24/7. It gives beneficiaries tools for informed decisions. This is a service to augment our MTF care, not to replace it! TRICARE Beneficiaries who need around-the-clock access to medical information, education and advice, can dial a single number from anywhere in Western Europe; the TRICARE’s Nurse Advice Line to speak to a registered nurse, any time day or night with the Audio Health Library as an additional feature. Beneficiaries in Greece should use the country specific number for Greece which is: 008-001-1815-3044.
If Active Duty members are TDY or vacationing even if they are in the vicinity of Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) overseas, they may use the International SOS for emergent or urgent medical care. Members may call collect or request ISOS to call them back: @ 0044-20-8762-8133. This service is also available to the Active Duty Family Members (ADFMs) who are enrolled in TRICARE Prime in the United States or Overseas but only for emergent care and emergency evacuation overseas.
