  • SŁUPSK, Poland (July 4, 2019) - U.S. Sailors assigned to Naval Support
Facility Redzikowo(NSFR), Poland, celebrated the 4th of July holiday with
locals from the community of Słupsk. NSFR Sailors were invited to
participate in the city's 118th annual commemoration celebration of their
town hall building built in 1901. The mayor of Slupsk, Krystyna
Danilecka-Wojewódzka(left), welcomed the Sailors before cutting a cake that
was shared with everyone present. Sailors often participate in community
events to become more familiar with local culture and are committed to

  • Slupsk, Poland - U.S. Navy Sailors from NSF Redzikowo recently paid a visit
to Mechanik School and worked together with students on their English
skills. It has been a great year of interactions and we have seen
significant progress from the students. Also, Sailors, Soldiers, and
civilians from NSF Redzikowo, Aegis Ashore Poland, and USACE Europe, donated
4 boxes of school supplies to the teachers and students of Mechanik.
  • SLUPSK, Poland (June 19, 2019) - Capt. Jon Grant, Commanding Officer, Naval
Support Facility Redzikowo, Poland, and NSF Redzikowo staff personnel attend
the Polish Force Protection Battalion, Battalion Day ceremony. Battalion Day
is held annually to commemorate the birthday of the Battalion. NSF Redzikowo
and AAMDS Poland play a key role in ballistic missile defense in Eastern
Europe. Their operations enable the responsiveness of U.S. and Allied forces
in support of Navy Region Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia's (NAVEURAFSWA)
mission to provide services to the fleet, fighter and family. NAVEURAFSWA
executes the six lines of operations ashore to support the United States and
allied forces operating in the Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia area of
responsibility.
