Fleet and Family Readiness

Customer service is our core competency. Team Pearl Harbor-Hickam provides service with aloha to the commands and families of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam at a level recognized as the benchmark among all military installations. Individually and collectively we are good neighbors and active partners in the Oahu community, exercising uncompromising stewardship of the fiscal, environmental, cultural and historic resources under our care.

Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) Programs (N9) is responsible for policy development, resourcing and oversight of quality of life programs for Sailors and their families. The mission of the FFR team is to maximize the physical, emotional and social development of the Navy family. FFR enables a ready Navy force through its Fleet Readiness, Family Readiness and Housing Programs. It also includes the Support Services Center and the Navy Wounded Warrior - Safe Harbor Program.

Family Readiness (N91) includes the Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) and Emergency Response.

FFSP provides services through Fleet and Family Support Centers, such as relocation assistance, new parent support, deployment services, clinical counseling services, financial management counseling, family employment services, family advocacy and the transition assistance programs. This includes:

Navy Housing (N93) is responsible for the overall management of all Hawaii housing. This includes:

Focused on assisting Sailors, both single and those with families, receive suitable, affordable and safe housing wherever they are assigned, the Housing Program is a key quality of life program that is essential to personal and family readiness. The Housing Program achieves this objective through Navy-owned housing, Navy leased housing, privatized housing and community housing.
