Congressionally Mandated Navy Privatized Family Housing: Third-party Inspections
In accordance with the FY20 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the Department of Navy (DON) has contracted for a third-party inspection of all of the Navy’s Public-Private Venture (PPV) family housing during the period of 25 October 2021 through 17 September 2022. Inspections are being conducted by a two-person Qualified Home Inspection team contracted with Jacobs/HDR JV. Notices will be sent out by the HSC to the affected neighborhoods at least two weeks prior to inspections and will be posted on the inspection site: https://navyppvinspections.com/. On the day prior to inspection, the inspectors will deliver door hanger notices to each home.
Residents may review the “Resident Q&A Flyer” for further information as it pertains to these PPV inspections, along with POCs and the signed JBC notification letter sent out on 18 October 2021.
