Counseling and Assistance

The Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) offers marital, couple, family, and individual counseling services to service members and their family members, as well as SOFA sponsored contractors. In addition, FFSC offers Domestic Violence Victim Advocate (DAVA) and New Parent Support (NPS) services. FFSC staff members are professional, licensed, and specifically trained providers.

Clinical counseling service is problem-focused and brief, with the emphasis placed on problems in daily living, such as difficulty adjusting to the military lifestyle, relationships, parenting, grief and other personal crises that can have a negative impact upon military readiness and family preparedness.

Victim advocates work individually with victims of domestic abuse and provide the information, guidance and advocacy victims often need.
