Captain Manning Montagnet is a native of Pass Christian, Miss., and a 1995 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In 2009, he completed a master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies at the U.S. Naval War College, Newport, R.I.
Commander Zathan Baker, a native of Pagosa Springs, Colo., enlisted in the U.S. Navy in September 1992. Following Aviation Mechanic Ejection (AME) “A” school in Memphis. Tenn., he reported to Naval Air Station (NAS) Whiting Field in Milton, Fla., and, later, was assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 106 at Cecil Field Fla., where he received an NROTC scholarship to attend the University of Colorado in the fall of 1994. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering and was subsequently commissioned an ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1998.
Command Master Chief
Command Master Chief Weba Roberts was born in Jamaica and grew up in Massachusetts. She attended basic training in Great Lakes, Ill. in 1996 and upon completion attended Aviation Support Equipment Technician "A" School in Pensacola, Fla., and cryogenics "C" school in San Diego, Calif. She is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, CMC/COB course and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
