Child & Youth Programs


CYP Administration Office

Navy Child & Youth Programs Atsugi provides high quality, innovative, accessible, and, affordable child care, education, and recreational programs for children and youth stationed in Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan.

Registration and payment for CYP programs and services are accepted in any CYP Facility.  CYP Atsugi patrons can also pay online.  Patrons will receive online credentials and a letter from CYP and can then register online here!

Child Development Center (CDC)

The Child Development Center (CDC) provides full-day, part-day, and hourly care for children ages six weeks to five years.  More information

School Age Care (SAC)

The School Age Care (SAC) Program provides childcare for eligible children in kindergarten through age 12.  It consists of before school care, after school care, and full-day camp programs during Department of Defense dependents school vacation periods.  More information

Youth Sports and Fitness (YSF)

The Youth Sports & Fitness (YSF) Program provides children and youth (ages 3-18) with opportunities for participation in sports and fitness activities.  More information

Teen Center

The Teen Center serves youth in grade 6 to 12 from military and civilian families stationed in the Atsugi-Zama area.  Membership is FREE!  Become a member of the Teen Center today!  More information

School Liaison Officer (SLO)

The School Liaison Officer (SLO) serves as the primary liaison for community schools, commanders, and military parents and wears many hats: advisor, communicator, advocate, and coordinator.  More information

Youth Sponsorship Program

Students moving to Atsugi and enrolling at Shirley Lanham Elementary School, Zama American Middle School or Zama American High School can participate in the Navy's Youth Sponsorship Program (YSP) to smooth the transition to their new school. The goal of YSP is to provide easy integration for new students, answers to their questions, a fun way to meet friends, and other support for transitioning military children.  More information

Classes and Lessons

In addition to sports, NAF Atsugi offers other youth extracurricular activities, such as dance, gymnastics, piano and violin lessons.  More information
