Commander Shipor Tsui is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from University of Wyoming in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and holds a Masters of Science Degree in Systems and Engineering and Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Sea tours include Chief Staff Officer of COASTAL RIVERINE SQUADRON 1, Weapons and Combat Systems Officer in USS CURTIS WILBUR (DDG 54), Training and Assistance Operations Officer in USS CHANCELLORSVILLE (CG 62) and Repair and Main Propulsion Division officer in USS JOHN PAUL JONES (DDG 53) / HIGGINS (DDG 76). CDR Tsui served as interim Director/Deputy Director of the newly formed Integrated Air Missile Defense Task Force and continued as the Operations/Plans Officer.
While ashore, Commander Tsui completed a tour at COMNAVSURFPAC as the Future Requirements Officer.
His personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal, as well as various unit and campaign awards.
