This week in preparation for the 2015 NAS Oceana Air Show, Navy jet aircraft will conduct limited periods of flight demonstration training. During this training, aerobatic maneuvers will be executed directly over NAS Oceana’s airfield. Some of the high-performance maneuvers conducted during this training will be noticeably louder than normal day-to-day operations at Oceana. These practice sessions are coordinated with, and approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
